Jennifer Chalos, Lead Consultant

Jennifer Chalos is owner of Jennifer Chalos & Associates, Nonprofit Consultants. She has more than 24 years of experience serving various nonprofit organizations in Tennessee and Atlanta, both internally on staff and as an independent consultant.

 

Throughout her career, Chalos has helped to raise millions of dollars for the 40-plus organizations, which include large, national institutions, regional and statewide organizations, established urban institutions, and smaller, local nonprofits. Chalos offers a well-rounded skill set that allows her to effectively serve the unique needs and goals of all types of nonprofits. She is expert in campaign and general fundraising evaluation, planning, and management; nonprofit leadership development; corporate sponsorship; foundation relations and grant writing; major gift planning and acquisition; and special event fundraising.

Chalos earned a M.Ed. with a focus in institutional advancement from Vanderbilt University and a BA in political science from the University of Georgia. She currently serves on the Board of Book’em, the Advisory boards of Safe Haven Family Shelter and Mental Health America of Middle Tennessee, and volunteers with Christ the King and University School of Nashville. In addition to her role at Jennifer Chalos & Associates, Chalos is a Consultant and Facilitator with the Center for Nonprofit Management in Nashville, TN.
